Automatic Self Cleaning Strainers are continuous filters that capture solids from process streams. Strainers are self-cleaning and do not interrupt the flow.
Operator requirements are minimal and easy access to reduce maintenance time. The cleaning is done when the pressure through the strainer is too high, water is then pumped at countercurrent to clean the strainer media.
Cleanable in line strainer can be made from perforated plate, wire mesh, edge filter or stacked ring.
