Bed Gas Adsorber are gas cleaning devices that utilize the adsorption principle to purify a gas.

Adsorption is the phenomenon in which molecules of a fluid or gas contact or adhere to the surface of solid (the adsorbent).

When adsorbed the gas molecules travel to the surface of the solid where they lose much of their molecular motion, realising heat that is often close in magnitude to their heat of condensation.
