Cyclone Dust Collector

Cyclone Dust Collector commonly called Cyclone separators are gas cleaning devices that utilize the centrifugal force created by a spinning gas stream to separate particles from a gas. The gas flow is forced to follow the curved geometry of the cyclone while the inertia of particles in the flow causes them to move toward the outer wall, where they collide and are collected into a hopper located underneath.

Cyclones separators are frequently used as a pretreatment to remove coarse dust, as a classifier or to lower the dust burden on a secondary collector.

Cyclone separators are found in all types of power and industrial applications, including pulp and paper plants, cement plants, steel mills, petroleum coke plants, metallurgical plants, saw mills and other kinds of facilities that process coarse dust.
