Skimmer Cyclone is a modified Cyclone which do not have the spiraling vortex characteristics of the cyclone.
In the Skimmer Cyclone, the dust is carried by centrifugal force to the outside wall of the scroll from which the concentrated dust layer is skimmed off.
The advantage of this technology lies in his high air volume capacity which allow a reduction of the amount of Pre Separators (1 Skimmer instead of 2 cyclones).
